This, That, and Narnia
Well, it's the incredible busy season. This Sunday night is the culmination of our church choir's work. They sound great and this will be a wonderful night of singing and fellowship. Then comes our annual Christmas eve candle light service. Then on Christmas Day (Sunday) we will gather late in the morning for a time of worship.
The kids are just about done with their Christmas programs. I think they have an all school sing along on Friday followed by "holiday" parties. (We really don't like the political correctness entering school!) Also, David will be playing his cello that day in front of the whole school! Ali and Andrew are done with Preschool for the year. She was wiped out yesterday but Andrew's all the more excited because this means he is closer to going to Disney World with Ali's parents! And at work we have had two awesome parties already and will share in one more on Monday.
Narnia was a great movie. People have asked my favorite part and I automatically go to when Aslan, with a MIGHTY roar, pounces on the queen in the last of the battle scene. I loved Lucy's character...Elizabeth didn't get to go see it, so I can't wait to see it again with her. My boys connected with Peter which is great and just means they want to carry their own sword! (Oh how I can't wait for them to truly understand the power of God's Word as THE sword!)
OK, quick and sweet. Must go wake everyone up for the day! Blessings.
